We’re looking for a Junior IT Administrator who is responsible for the administration, monitoring, and ongoing support of Echoworx’s internal IT environment. The role requires strong hands-on expertise across cloud platforms, Linux, Windows, virtualization, container technologies, and identity systems. This role is primarily remote, with the occasional on-site work (at our Toronto office) required for hands-on equipment or troubleshooting.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.

What You’ll Do:

  • Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.
  • Manage Active Directory and Azure AD / Entra ID.
  • Administer AWS infrastructure including EC2 and WorkSpaces.
  • Deploy and manage Docker-based workloads and serverless technologies.
  • Administer VMware virtualization environments.
  • Provide advanced Linux and Windows administration.
  • Monitor systems, respond to alerts, and resolve incidents.
  • Participate in occasional after-hours incident response.
  • Maintain technical documentation and runbooks.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work effectively across teams.
